As we tend to do things to pose to others rather than our own happiness. In today’s time it’s next to impossible to have a happy movement without posting it and letting others know however ways possible. Be it eating in a fancy restaurant , going to a premium lounge, taking flights , an expensive holiday buying yourself a really good gadget or outfit. We can’t hold it ourselves.
There are two kinds of inclination that can develop, one to just showcase things to others to feel the validation and second a scarcity of not feeling the worth of your spend. What I mean by lagging is that if I am experiencing this and none watched it is a waste of money etc.
The first thing anyways leads you to a downfall only as you may not be doing so wanted things but only to live up to the others expectation which will cause you into either an overspend or a loser. And The second case won’t let you live the moment fully.
So if you just do things for yourself first or your family, the above two problems will be solved.
Let me explain this with an example. Suppose you have taken yourself to a five star hotel , you experienced the good ambience, the hospitality and the food and comfortable stay. You did it only for yourself. You are fully satisfied and happy to live the moment.
There can be two possibilities :
Case 1 : If you posted the experience , well and good , you got both cashed – You had what you wanted and you had the satisfaction and also the validation.
Case 2 : If you had that just hidden and to you only it will still be shown to others in your confidence. Any time in the future if you go with someone, the ease and confidence will speak by itself compared to the one who has never been to a five star.
The point I am trying to make here is that whichever way it goes, if you just do things for you , it will be fully rewarding to you. People will see it , either directly or in your confidence.
And this one will be so firm inside you that you will always stand out. Unlike the fakers or posers who just make up things to look above. And trust me they won’t be able to stand in front of you and just get lost somewhere in the gathering.
Just don’t care if you are having a good time , being able to afford premium things or living a high lifestyle , just enjoy solo and it will be shown in other ways (If you care) .
If I were to give my example, I lived a premium lifestyle for more than 10 years and it is known to a very few. Like most of the people out there I sometimes have this regret of not showcasing, but trust me it is seen in me and today I notice those people who hardly stand in front who were so called “premium” of that time as they always did things to make a fake persona which is just shaky and shallow.
